GRATITUDE: In addition to being grateful to all of our DSG Global client family for keeping us in business during these difficult pandemic years, this year we are especially thankful for being able to travel and meet our loved ones around the world. We loved attending the weddings of close relatives who had put off their wedding ceremonies till it was safe for their guests to travel. RECAP OF 2022: At the end of the year, we usually review the major updates over the past year and make predictions for the year ahead. EXEMPTION FROM AUDITS: We are delighted that Customs has finally re-opened the Importer Self-Assessment (ISA program) to new members and has renamed this program "CTPAT Trade Compliance". We are big advocates of this "Trusted trader" program which comes with significant benefits such as exemption from customs audits (or as I call it - better sleep at night). Our friends at "Global Training Center" have asked me to educate their audience on all aspects of applying for CTPAT Trade compliance (formerly known as the ISA program).
